Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH ALBERT BENOIT October 7, 1922 - July 31, 2002 Joe (Al to many) led an active life full of love of the outdoors, sports and traveling. He served in the R.C.A.F. in the Second World War, and worked for CNR until retirement. He volunteered with Air Force Reserve, St. Johns Ambulance, Seine River Project, St. Vital Senior Centre. Joe will be sadly missed by his children, Paul, Ken, and Lorie; ex-wife Audrea; special friend Denise Desrochers; sisters, Irene, Eveline and Lucille; stepdaughter Dana; six grandchildren; plus many relatives, friends and Harley. Joe has joined his son Bruce, who passed over July 1997, brother Eugene and sister Blanche. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, September 7 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. To honour Joes love of gardening, live plants can be sent to his home, 29 Wingham, or brought to his celebration.
